Park Ridge Juniors Club & Foundation, founded in 1935, is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to raise
money for donation to other non-profit organizations for the doing of charitable work. The Foundation is comprised of all Club members and a Board of Directors. The Club is
governed by an Executive Committee reporting to the Foundation Board of Directors.
~
The Club meets the 2nd Thursday each month September through April, at various venues. Club meetings are twofold; a short meeting followed by the evening program which varies in content. We have enjoyed programs ranging from reflexology to wine tastings. The Club holiday meeting centers around philanthropy where we conduct a gift "wrap" for the various community organizations. These "wraps" enable us to provide small gifts and tins of homemade cookies for local seniors and young families in need. The Club, while primarily philanthropic and charitable whose members are
dedicated to community improvement through volunteer services, is also social
and educational in purpose.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Since it was founded in 1935, the mission of Park Ridge Juniors has been to
improve conditions, civic and general, by work in philanthropic, educational
and cultural directions.
